🖥️ Daemons

A daemon runs agents in an environment you control, with access to the workspaces, tools, and credentials you choose.

• Install the daemon and connect it to your AgentConnect organization.
• Manage daemons to inspect status, capacity, and the agents assigned to each runtime.
• Upgrade the daemon from the console or the host, and roll back a release that misbehaves.
• Daemon groups (experimental) keep an agent running when one machine goes down, and let its sessions run on more than one machine.
• Run agents on AgentConnect Cloud instead of a machine you operate, with model usage priced at the provider's published rates.
• Sandbox agent runtimes on supported Linux machines, per agent or as a daemon-wide requirement.
